Part A · Installation Instructions
Part B · Warranty Conditions
Finishing Ceiling Installation
01
Purlin Distance
Fix purlins at a centre-to-centre distance of 2 feet (approx. 610 mm). Consistent spacing is critical — irregular purlin gaps will cause sheet misalignment and panel stress over time.
02
Laying Direction
Install sheets starting from the top ridge of the roof, working downward to the lower edge. Always follow this top-to-bottom direction to ensure correct overlap and water management.
03
Fixing Method
Jaguar Nails must be used to fix sheets to the purlin. No alternative fastener is accepted. Nails must be driven cleanly and flush — do not over-drive or under-drive.
04
Foil Application
Apply foil sheets simultaneously with i-Panel sheet installation and the roof canopy. Do not retrofit foil after panel installation is complete. Foil thickness is determined by the roofing product specification in use.
Flat (Petal) Ceiling Installation
01
GI Channel Spacing
Fix GI channels crosswise at a centre-to-centre distance of 2 feet (approx. 610 mm). Uniform spacing must be maintained across the full ceiling area before any panel is placed.
02
Hanging with GI Support
Hang the crosswise GI channels using supportive GI hangers at 4-foot intervals. Hangers must be securely anchored to the roof structure above to bear the full ceiling load without deflection.
03
Fixing i-Panel Sheets
Fix i-Panel sheets to the GI channels using pop rivets. Begin fixing from one edge and work consistently across to the opposite edge. Starting from a fixed edge prevents cumulative alignment faults.
04
GI Channel Specification
Use GI channel with a minimum cross-section of 25 mm × 35 mm × 25 mm and a minimum metal gauge of 0.40 mm. Thinner or undersized channels must not be used.
05
Thermal Insulation
If the distance between the roofing surface and the ceiling level is less than 2 feet, aluminium foil insulation is mandatory. This prevents heat build-up and protects both the panel and the roof structure.
Warranty Validity Notice
Warranty coverage is valid exclusively when i-PANEL products are installed in strict accordance with the installation instructions in Part A. Any deviation from these procedures may void the warranty in full.
1
Structural Support & Framing
1.1
Purlin spacing: For finishing ceiling applications, purlins must be fixed at a maximum centre-to-centre distance of 2 feet. Exceeding this spacing will void all structural warranty claims.Voids Warranty
1.2
GI channel spacing: For flat ceiling applications, GI channels must be fixed crosswise at a maximum centre-to-centre distance of 2 feet. All channels must be fully secured before any panel is installed.
1.3
GI hanger intervals: Crosswise GI channels must be supported by GI hangers anchored to the overhead structure at no more than 4-foot intervals. Unsupported spans beyond this will render the ceiling structurally non-compliant.Voids Warranty
2
Fastening & Fixings
2.1
Approved fasteners: Jaguar Nails are the only approved fastener for fixing i-Panel sheets to purlins in finishing ceiling applications. Use of any alternative fastener voids the warranty.Voids Warranty
2.2
Pop rivet fixing: For flat ceiling applications, i-Panel sheets must be connected to GI channels using pop rivets at every available fixing point. Insufficient or missing rivets will void the warranty.Voids Warranty
2.3
Fixing sequence: All sheet fixing must commence from one edge and proceed uniformly to the opposite edge. Random or non-sequential fixing that results in misalignment is excluded from warranty coverage.
3
GI Channel Specification
3.1
Minimum dimensions: GI channels must have a minimum cross-section of 25 mm × 35 mm × 25 mm. Channels below this dimension are not accepted under the warranty.
3.2
Minimum gauge: The metal gauge of GI channels must be no less than 0.40 mm. Use of channels below this gauge threshold voids all ceiling-related warranty claims.Voids Warranty
4
Foil & Thermal Insulation
4.1
Simultaneous foil application: For finishing ceiling systems, foil sheets must be applied at the same time as i-Panel sheet installation. Retrofitting foil after panels are fixed will not be covered under warranty.
4.2
Mandatory foil for confined spaces: Where the gap between the roofing surface and the ceiling is less than 2 feet, aluminium foil insulation is mandatory. Omission voids any heat-related damage claims.Voids Warranty
4.3
Foil specification: Foil thickness must be selected based on the roofing product in use and must conform to the manufacturer's recommended specification for the project conditions.
5
Installation Procedure & Workmanship
5.1
Laying direction: Finishing ceiling sheets must be laid from the top ridge downward to the lower edge. Sheets installed in the reverse direction will not be covered under the warranty.Voids Warranty
5.2
Panel alignment: All panels must be correctly seated and aligned before fasteners are applied. Forced, bent, or distorted panels are excluded from warranty coverage.
5.3
Qualified installation: Installation must be carried out by personnel trained in i-Panel systems. The manufacturer accepts no liability for defects arising from unskilled or unsupervised installation work.
6
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Original Invoice
The original purchase invoice must be presented with every claim. Photocopies, screenshots, or duplicate invoices are not accepted as valid proof of purchase.
Original Warranty Card
The original i-Panel Warranty Card — fully completed and issued at point of purchase — must accompany any claim. Claims without the original card will not be processed.
Both Documents Required
Both the original invoice and warranty card must be presented together. Possession of only one document is insufficient. No exceptions will be made to this requirement.
Compliance Evidence
The claimant must demonstrate installation was carried out in accordance with Part A instructions. The manufacturer reserves the right to inspect prior to approving any claim.
7
Warranty Exclusions
Non-Compliance
Any installation that does not meet the spacing, fastener, gauge, or insulation requirements set out in Part A will be considered non-compliant and will void the warranty in full.
External Causes
Damage resulting from natural disasters, building structural movement, external water ingress, misuse, unauthorised modifications, or chemical exposure is excluded from warranty coverage.
Missing Documents
Claims submitted without both the original invoice and the original warranty card will be automatically declined. The manufacturer is not responsible for lost or damaged warranty documentation.
